Meet Our Team

Keith originally came to GSG in August of 2012 as Business Development Manager for the launch of private industry recruiting. Under his leadership, private business grew from $50,000 to more than $2.7 Million by 2016. Keith rejoined GSG in December of 2017 as Senior Director, where he is responsible for strategically building relationships and exploring revenue-based opportunities within GSG staffing services for both the private and State divisions.

Keith holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Texas Tech University. He began his career as a Sports Anchor, however he soon moved to sales, sales management, and operational management. Keith spent more than 12 years of his TV career in Abilene, TX and Missoula, MT with media company Lamco Communications. He held multiple roles with Lamco, including Vice-President and General Manager, National and Local Sales Manager roles, and General Sales Manager. He also worked for the CBS Television Network as a National Account Director.

Keith is a former Board Member on the Leander Excellence in Education Foundation and has volunteered his time in the Leander Independent School District (LISD) as the Chairman of the Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students) program. In addition, he has been the emcee of LISD’s annual convocation for two years, hosting more than 5,000 attendees.

Brian Nixon joined GSG Talent Solutions as Director of Operations in February of 2022. With 11 years of experience in staffing operations and sales, Brian brings valuable industry knowledge, a fresh perspective, and a thorough understanding of our regional market.

Brian is a self-taught staffing expert. His experience began in San Diego, California in 2009, where he joined a nationwide staffing franchise as Office Manager and fell in love with the industry. From there, Brian transferred back to Texas and rose through the ranks, exceeding growth expectations within both startup and established staffing agencies in Central Texas. Throughout his career, Brian has held the titles of Office Manager, Branch Manager, Regional Account Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Recruiting Manager, and now Director of Operations. In Brian’s own words, his biggest accomplishment is “connecting thousands of people to jobs and providing them with stable income”.

Brian was raised on a farm near Brownwood, Texas, where he developed a passion for animals and family game nights. He went to a small school in May, Texas, with a graduating class of 11 students. When Brian isn’t hard at work, he enjoys DIY projects, video games, live music events, and doing arts and crafts projects with friends. He has never walked past a dog without hugging it.

As the Senior Branch Manager, Garrett oversees the recruiting teams that are focused on staffing qualified professionals for State agencies and private companies.  Garrett is passionate about hiring top talent and developing his employees to reach their professional goals.

Garrett graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Government and a Business Foundations Degree. He also completed an interdisciplinary degree in business and ethics. During his career, Garrett completed a data analytics certification through The University of Texas’s Extended Campus program, where he learned how to manage big data and machine learning.

Living in Austin for over 20 years, Garrett and his wife enjoy exploring with their son the many outdoor options that Austin provides and the ever-changing restaurant scene.

A native Austinite, Lamesia is a Certified Staffing Professional with over 10 years of recruiting experience. Starting off with GSG as a recruiter in August 2019, Lamesia helped to connect many people in the community to jobs that they love as a core part of the private recruiting team. Always willing to take lead and provide a helping hand to her team mates, Lamesia was promoted to Recruiting Supervisor in March 2022, and has been guiding our team of dedicated recruiters ever since. Lamesia loves serving the community by connecting people to meaningful employment.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, and is a mother to 3 beautiful children.

A Southern California native, Nina moved to the Austin area in 2008, and brought her talents to GSG in 2012 as an Administrative File Clerk. After playing a vital role to GSG operations for many years by improving processes, establishing new systems, and supporting the staff in countless ways, she learned a lot about the staffing industry along the way and was promoted to recruiter in 2017. In July of 2021, Nina was promoted to Administrative Supervisor. Nina is passionate about helping people overcome obstacles to sustainable careers and has an affinity for bringing people together — whether it be her own team or candidates to employers. Nina enjoys dancing, attending her children’s football games, and cheering on the Las Vegas Raiders. Nina is a dedicated mother to three beautiful children and is a grandmother to2 beautiful babies.

Jennifer Cortinas is a professional recruiter for GSG Talent Solutions, with many years of professional experience. Starting in 2021, Jennifer’s expertise is working with people with disabilities with the Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Program. With extensive experience as a Job Placement Specialist, Job Skills Trainer and Director of her own company, Jennifer’s passion is helping people to find meaningful, purposeful work, and she could not ask for a more rewarding position and profession. Business attitudes are shifting toward social impact and inclusivity, and Jennifer is right there championing the many talents of people with disabilities and how they can add real value to not only the workforce, but the economy as a whole– part of a new vision for the future of work. She looks forward to continuing to bring employer partners and talented, qualified candidates together to create meaningful, purposeful work for our clients and give hope to those who might not have it. “The only disability in life, is a bad attitude.”
